The Teddy Bear Fund — girls carrying a giant pink teddy bear beside the same kind of bear left in flood silt

Why relief is needed now

Two photographs, one distance.

Between those two pictures is a single night of rain. Floods and landslides took houses, roads, schools, and — in far too many families — children. The families who survived are living in shelters with what they carried out.

Relief right now means the basics: clean water, food, blankets, medicine, safe shelter, and getting classrooms usable again. It also means something the ledgers rarely count — helping children feel like children again after they have watched their village disappear.

Every dollar is tracked from donation to receipt to verified delivery, the same way everything else on this site is.

Delphi Resilience

The Teddy Bear Fund

A dedicated line inside the Nepal Relief + Recovery Fund for toys, blankets, and comfort kits for displaced children. Small money, disproportionate effect.

You give

Any amount, any rail — dollars, Bitcoin, stablecoins, or other approved assets. Marked for the Teddy Bear Fund.

We buy locally

Toys, blankets, and comfort kits sourced in Nepal wherever possible, so relief money stays in the economy.

Toy and comfort-kit purchases are receipted and photographed on delivery. If a community's greater need is food, water, or shelter, Compass Rose may redirect these funds — and that decision is published in the ledger.

Accountability

The Transparency Standard

This is the commitment behind every number on this page.

  • Every dollar is tracked from donation to delivery.
  • Every purchase is documented with a receipt.
  • Every delivery is photographed and confirmed by the field partner.
  • Nothing is published until it is verified.
  • Empty is honest — we show zero rather than invent activity.
