Who is responsible for your data

Compass Rose International is the charitable administrator, fiduciary, and safeguarding authority for this fund and decides how personal data is used. Delphi Resilience builds and runs the website, treasury ledger, and field reporting tools on its behalf. The Space — Denver supports community logistics and does not receive donor records.

What we collect

  • Donor details you choose to give us: name (or your choice to remain anonymous), email address, gift amount, currency or digital asset, and any note or designated purpose.
  • Payment and transaction data: card and bank payments are processed by our payment providers, who hold the card data — we never see or store full card numbers. On-chain gifts are recorded by public wallet address and transaction ID.
  • Field operations data: reports, needs, receipts, deliveries, and photographs submitted by authorised staff, along with the account and timestamp of each submission.
  • Basic technical data needed to serve and secure the site.

Why we use it

  • To receive, receipt, and account for charitable gifts.
  • To publish the transparency ledger connecting funds to verified outcomes.
  • To meet legal, audit, tax, and anti-money-laundering obligations.
  • To send you updates about the fund, only where you have asked to receive them.

Public information versus private information

Only what is explicitly marked public appears on the site. Donor names are shown only when a donor chooses to be named; anonymous gifts appear as amounts and dates alone. Donor email addresses are never published. Field reports and media stay private until an authorised reviewer approves them for publication.

On-chain gifts are inherently public on their respective blockchains. A wallet address or transaction ID published in our ledger can be traced by anyone; consider this before giving from a wallet linked to your identity.

Children's images and community data

Photographs of children are governed by our safeguarding policy. Images are only published with the consent of the residential home's leadership and the child's guardian, are never published with a full name, location detail, or any information that could identify where a specific child lives, and are removed on request without question.

Who we share data with

Payment processors, our cloud hosting and database provider, and professional advisers (accountants, auditors) acting under confidentiality. We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising.

Retention and security

Financial records are retained as long as charity, tax, and audit rules require. Field and media records are retained for the life of the programme record. Access is role-based: staff see only what their role requires, every privileged action is written to an audit log, and private media is stored in access-controlled storage served through short-lived signed links.

Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, withdraw consent for the use of your name or image, and unsubscribe from updates at any time.
